METHODOLOGY

Methodology

SmartTools separates conclusions into auditable evidence, sources, and limitations, so operators do not depend on an opaque score.

Source differences

Public sources can disagree. Reports preserve those differences instead of allowing one source to overwrite the rest.

Rule version

Tool and rule versions stay attached to each report so older conclusions remain interpretable after rules change.

Result validity

Results represent data available at check time. Stale, unavailable, or insufficient sources are labeled explicitly.

Network Environment

Network Environment Check

Input scope

Checks only the current connection or one explicit public IP. No ranges or ports.

Evidence and partial failure

Evidence, source, and update time are shown per item. If one source fails, remaining results stay usable with completeness labeled.

Result limitations

Public signals may be delayed or missing. Results are not platform-internal judgments or an account-safety guarantee.

IP Reputation
